The workshop is devoted to the study of geophysical processes and turbulence in the atmospheric and water boundary layers. Its scope includes numerical modeling of turbulent flows on different spatial and temporal scales, analysis of field measurement data and laboratory experiments, development of parametrizations for weather forecast and climate models. Reports will be presented by specialists from academic institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences, Lomonosov Moscow State University and the University of Helsinki.
