  • Research Computing Center (RCC) is a research institute within the structure of the Lomonosov Moscow State University (MSU). RCC MSU includes 20 research laboratories and two research and production units. In total, 60 researchers, including 1 academician of Russian Academy of Sciences (RAS), 2 corresponding members of RAS, 26 doctors of sciences and professors, 32 candidates of Sciences are engaged in research and development. Fundamental research is supported by grants of Russian Science Foundation, Russian Foundation for Basic Research, Russian Ministry of Science and Higher Education. Applied research is commissioned by many private and state organizations. RCC MSU is deeply involved in supporting the educational process of the Moscow University.

    The main activities of the Research Computing Center include support and maintenance of the supercomputer facilities of MSU, development and implementation of the administrative information systems of MSU, conducting fundamental and applied research in the following fields: parallel information technologies, supercomputer codesign, computational drag design, climate and environmental modeling, computational linguistics, direct and inverse problems in electrodynamics and acoustics, physics of elementary particles.
